Gratitude - a practice or a feeling!

Recently I have started reading a book " Bhagavad-gita As It Is ". Not that I have not read Gita earlier, I have been listening to it since my childhood. In those days, my grandmother used to recite it every day, and she would do it in a loud manner, stating that when I do this, the last thing would be you guys will hear at least something of it, if not the entire thing. So, every day when she would recite, she would sit at a place from where everyone could hear her. In short, we all have heard Gita mostly that way only. Well, I always wanted to read it (though I have read the shorter version of it earlier, this one is an elaborated one), and I was unable to finish the regular genre that I read, hence I started with something like this!  While reading, and of course have been watching similar stuff one thing I came across the most was "Gratitude...

Is one day enough to celebrate Mothers?

 Writing was, is, and will always be the best way for getting my head clear. Still, there are times when there are too many thoughts going around in my head and am unable to write them down. In other words, writing is like a meditation, that helps me keep myself sane. Someone may say, then I should write every day, well yes I do, just not everything is posted here. Only some of my writings are posted here, the rest I either write and send to my Angel,  while others are deleted after writing. And yes in some cases, I just write things mentally, and chuck it off! Alright, i know you would say she is a nut case! :P  Today happens to be Mother's Day, for which more than half of the world is going crazy. It is one day that I feel is more like a marketing gimmick or a joke for the most special relationship anyone can ever have. I could never fathom that celebrating one day can justify the gratitude we all should have for our whole life? Shouldn't a mother or a parent be celebra...
