Learning from 2020

Happy New Year!!!   What a year was 2020! Every year, we wait for the new year but seems this time, it was most awaited.  Some say, the name was 2020 but it seemed longer than a test match! So many things for the same year.  This year was for, revisiting humanity, revisiting ourselves, family bonding and evolving! Looks like, everything was getting so mechanical, that even nature decided to stop everything for a while, and gave us a chance to go back to our roots.  Okay, a whole year went by cribbing and being scared. But was this year that bad? Of course, some really bad things happened, still, there were some underlined good things too. The year 2020 was more a blessing in disguise, actually.   We all went back to our roots (at least most of us) This year, made us realise how important is surviving. Sometimes, it is more important than any achievement in life.  Spending time with family is the best thing we all have A lot of us explored the hidden ta...

Memoirs ... all the way from Pune!

Image
This is a late post, thanks to Divya , for inspiring the writer in me to pen down my experience of the Pune city. I moved to Pune from NCR in June 2015, with a few apprehensions about the place. I had heard a lot about this city (from a few friends who stayed there), and had crossed it a couple of times while travelling by road, but had never visited. At the same time, i was excited too, as this was the first step to a new era of life! Early days of this city were full of exploring the place, culture, learning a new language and developing some habits. I tried to capture a few in one of my post  . Couple of things which i learnt about myself while i was in this city: a) I could Dance, and became a certified Salsa dancer!  (Well i can count this as an achievement of my life!, one thing which i would definitely want to have in my eulogy (if it is ever written) :P ) b) With this place, i started writing reviews on Zomato; i.e. officially became a food blogger! :) c)...

And it went by in blink of an eye!

Tomorrow, it will be an year when i stepped into this city. Can't believe its already an year ; feels like the whole year went by in the blink of an eye! How fast time flies.... We generally say, Good times fly away quickly while the bad times move at a slower pace . And since, this year passed by so quickly, shall i deduce "That was an year! " . May be yes, i can say that.  An year back, both my Angel and Pole star, had commented that this move to new city will embark a new journey of life. And they had made the perfect prediction . Definitely, this was a new era of life for which the first step was moving to this peaceful city. The new place, new people, and the new challenges restored my faith in the beauty of life; somewhere brought back the lost confidence in humanity as i started walking through the new paths. And this confidence and faith encouraged me to do a lot of things for the first time.  Learnt dancing and overcame the fear of dancing publicly.  ...
Last weekend i went to my school, where i studied for 10 years ....3rd standard to 12th ....It was a great experience to meet all the teachers who had taught you ....to have a discussion with them like a friend who have always treated you as their kids.... n yeah i did get a chocolate from one of my teachers...i guess the first one which i got from a teacher in school. All the time when i was within the school compound, the complete 10 years were flashing in my mind...the way i used to sleep in bio lectures, the way i used to skip play sessions to go to library, the way i used to irritate the teachers with my silly and out of the course questions...the discussions which always used to end in one sentence only : "Leave it, it is far away from your course, better complete the course first and then we can have such discusions!" I miss them all! :-(  As expected, all teachers could recognise me by my face but took some some minutes to recall name, but there was one of my teachers...
Hi everyone I guess this is the last post from my college days, as now am leaving for my home after completing graduation ( hurray am a graduate now.... :P ). This moment am feeling nostalgic for the college, hostel and yeah the friends with whom i have spent all the good, bad, worst moments of these four golden years. And now it's time to say a goodbye to everyone, part off from everyone. People say it is the most difficult thing to leave but i feel it is more difficult to let someone leave you. But now this doesn't matter as it is really getting on my nerves to believe that this will be the last night out in the hostel, in my hostel room. I never knew that going from this place would be more difficult then living in this place. Every moment am feeling the pain, whatever am doing am doing for the last time, with the friends or alone. Today we celebrated birthday of one of my friends, and i was feeling the pain in the eyes of everyone, that soon we will not be able to see all t...
