On the other side of table...

Image
" Being on the other side of table, also gives you an insight of what other person is all about sometimes, because you already have been through it ." This though came to me last week, when i was interviewing few for my team, and about two months back i was in the shoes of the person on the other side of table, ie was giving my own interview. I could see it in the eyes of the candidate, all the thoughts, fear crossing his mind, once crossed my mind as well. It is just the time, which has changed its face, and took me to the other side of table, where i can reject or accept someone based on my intuitions.

When one grows up?

People say life starts at twenty, I believe it starts when you start living it. It might happen at an age of five, it might happen at fifty. In a way, its altogether an individual's belief, when he/she starts living his/her life. I believe that life starts when you start living at your own. At your own doesn't mean being financially independent, it means independence in terms of thoughts. There are people who can not think by themselves even at an age of fifty, while there are some who do this at a very early age, which might be even less than eighteen. I took 18 here, as legally speaking one becomes adult at 18. So, it entirely up to an individual and the way he/she has been brought up. Thereby, it depends on the family atmosphere one lives in. I know people, who are still kids, though they are elder to me and know some who are more mature but are younger to me. By being kids, i meant that people are incapable of taking their own decision , come what may be the reason behind ...

Time flies...

Its almost over one silver jubilee since i came in to this world, over four years since i completed my studies, over one and a half year since i got married, over 3 months since am jobless; and in this duration hell lot of things have happened that have changed my notions, changed my reservations, changed me up to an extent that sometimes people refuse to recognize me, and still its changing me. Sometimes i ponder over what i wished when i was a kid, and what am i today. We all have some belief, some dreams and some habits, which may or may not be liked, which may or may not be accepted by people around us, still we follow them from the depth of our heart. May be this is what that makes us unique. We rarely give a thought to what one feels in his/her shoes, seldom feel what one feels in his/her shoes, but always crib on what other person is doing irrespective of what we are doing. Why is it so? I don't understand why people become so indifferent, insensitive to others. They just th...

Life

Some time ago i read somewhere, " We put walls around our heart, not just to be safe from the hurt, but to find who cares enough to break them down" So true it is ....but in real world nobody will ever care enough to break them down except you yourself. As in today's world even your beloved would expect you to tell him/her instead you let him/her understand you ....as in any case first part is easier and he/she has to do less exercise ....after all itna time kiske paas hai ?? ;) Was just wondering, how mean have we become ...in today's world even parents ask return for the care and love they gave you when you were small .....as if whatever they did for their children was keeping the fact in mind ...if i brought him 500 rupee watch when he was 5 year old then he should gift me worth 50k when i will be 50!!!! Damn it man .... What i feel is , in many sense the way society grows is better in western culture rather than what we have in indian culture..... atleast there ...

And Finally!!!!

After some long discussions with parents, brother and friends .....and sometimes with myself too, finally i have resigned from my first job! First job ......is more like a first love....you can never forget it, neither you can get over it ever. Though i don't leave a single moment to curse my employer (like every employee does) but still i love it the most. May be its coz of all the things that i have learnt while working here. It has groomed me from a mere bachelor (a college pass out) into a pure professional. It imbibed the maturiy level into me, by providing me various oppurtunities that i myself have had never taken if i was not forced to! So thanks to the people out there ......with some of whom i have made very good friends ...while some were not very good friends. From all these, i got to earn a lot, i got to learn how to draw a line between personal and professional life; i got to learn how to say "No" to things that you don't wish to work upon and to peop...
