And it went by in blink of an eye!

Tomorrow, it will be an year when i stepped into this city. Can't believe its already an year ; feels like the whole year went by in the blink of an eye! How fast time flies....

We generally say, Good times fly away quickly while the bad times move at a slower pace. And since, this year passed by so quickly, shall i deduce "That was an year! " . May be yes, i can say that. 

An year back, both my Angel and Pole star, had commented that this move to new city will embark a new journey of life. And they had made the perfect prediction. Definitely, this was a new era of life for which the first step was moving to this peaceful city. The new place, new people, and the new challenges restored my faith in the beauty of life; somewhere brought back the lost confidence in humanity as i started walking through the new paths. And this confidence and faith encouraged me to do a lot of things for the first time. 
  1. Learnt dancing and overcame the fear of dancing publicly. 
  2. Drove in the hills, about which i was never confident earlier.
  3. Performed without any stage fear.
  4. Pursued my passion of writing with zeal even with the family. Rarely anyone in my family ever knew my passion for writing except my mom! Now everyone knows! ;) :P 
  5. Made an debut as an anchor/narrator. 
  6. Explored new places on my own. 
  7. Started writing restaurant reviews regularly or became a food blogger; thanks to Zomato! 
All in all, it simply changed me as a person , made me more positive about everything; calmed me down and i feel more peace at heart. May be i have matured after i moved here, or it's just that my heart and mind are at peace, hence i can see through a lot of situations. Either ways, it seems this change is for good only! And I can sum up the learning of this year with this quote

Just a few days ago, Cute Li'le Angel happened to be in the town on a business trip, and as usual, we almost fought the hectic schedule, city weather and the traffic to have a meeting for a couple of hours. By reacting to all of them, you are paying attention to your thoughts and feeding them, allowing them to exist. That is how a troubled mind creates a chaotic world.' This is an excerpt from a book am reading. A book which happens to be a fiction, and i didn't expect to read such a deep line in that one. It made me think, ponder upon even after days of reading the same. This is something that i learnt during Vipassana. An year of Metamorphosis!

Since the last post, life has been overhauled. It's been six months, and life is completely different now. A lot has happened in these six months, and I cannot relate to myself anymore. The person I was before April and the person I am now are two completely different human beings! Definitely, I have become more boring than earlier.  This year has been the year of firsts! Many things happened for the first time with me, and I did many new things.  Getting fired Vipassana Living in negative temperatures with basic means  Not planning anything  Noble silence for 9 days (Trust me the best time of life) Living without a phone, internet, and family  Lived at an altitude of 3500+ mtrs from sea level  Rushed mom to emergency for cardiac care Went on a trip with my Angel Welcomed a baby girl in the family.
