Soul Connection

Sometimes it feels, it was just a few years ago, when i was introduced to a smiling girl, who in just few weeks, became an integral part of my life. Fast forward to 2012,she got married to her Prince Charming, and again fast forward to 2016, she gave birth to another angel! Next week, i will meeting both of them. Must say, time just flies away! It's been 13 years now. Gosh! Time flies ! :D

In these 13 years, we started from being strangers, to aquantainces , to friends, to best buddies or BFFs, to be called as family. Whenever we talk, there's always a sense of belonging to each other. She has been my strength in the ups and downs of life. If i try to name a person whom i have hurt the most, then it would be surely Her. Above all, if anyone in this world knows me the best it's Her! She knows me inside out, but everytime she tells me that she doesn't know me much. Wierd!

I can't stop smiling knowing that i would be seeing her next week, almost after 5 years. We have been living in two different continents, for past 9 years; but the extent to which we touch each other's life , it feels like we live under same roof.  Last time i saw her, she was the pretty bride. This time when i will see her, she will be a prettier mom of a cute kid.

In these 13 years, it has happened a lot, that one of us missed the other, and the other one just called up; May be that's what is called "the connection", or "The Soul connection"

Just a few days ago, Cute Li'le Angel happened to be in the town on a business trip, and as usual, we almost fought the hectic schedule, city weather and the traffic to have a meeting for a couple of hours. You Are More Than the Mind

 'The real "you" is different from those thoughts. You are reacting to every thought that visits your mind. By reacting to all of them, you are paying attention to your thoughts and feeding them, allowing them to exist. That is how a troubled mind creates a chaotic world.' This is an excerpt from a book am reading. A book which happens to be a fiction, and i didn't expect to read such a deep line in that one. It made me think, ponder upon even after days of reading the same. This is something that i learnt during Vipassana. An year of Metamorphosis!

Since the last post, life has been overhauled. It's been six months, and life is completely different now. A lot has happened in these six months, and I cannot relate to myself anymore. The person I was before April and the person I am now are two completely different human beings! Definitely, I have become more boring than earlier.  This year has been the year of firsts!
