On a dental Chair

How does it feel when you are sitting on a dental chair, with a painful tooth?

Last week, I had to undergo a dental procedure called Root Canal Treatment. It was not for the first time i had this treatment, as already had two RCTs done during college days; hence, my dentist expected me to be a pro for handling the painful procedure. Of course i was not a pro, but was experienced, so knew all the steps and the after-effects.

Since i was not a novice, was quite calm about the LA (Local Anesthesia) that the dentist gave to me. As, i could foresee the pain, hence i was mentally prepared for it, thereby could deal with the same, resulting in a peaceful procedure. Somewhere my dentist was expecting me to shout or make a big fuss out of the entire procedure, and i wasn't an iota distressed, which was a shock for him!

Only thing which irritated me in entire process was, dentist took more than 25 X-rays! There was a point when i wanted to tell him, pls no more pics of my teeth. Having said that, after getting clicked, shaped, and after all sort of dental make-ups, now my teeth is ready for the crowning ceremony, and soon will be a crowned one! :P

Thanks to the deadly toothache, now i know what is a Crown or a bridge is!

Moreover, even my dentist confirmed that am a Weirdo, as even my tooth doesn't have a normal straight canal, i.e. i have a distorted root canal making it a nightmare for my dentist to continue with the treatment! :P :D
