Day of Summer Solstice!

"22 June", apart from being the day of Solstice, this day holds a special place in my life! 

 This very day in 1993, it was the housewarming of our home! Yayay, my home, sweet home is 24 years old now! It has seen my life, lived all the ups and downs of life with me, in last 24 years. 

 This day, year 2007,was my first day in the Corporate world! Wow! I could survive a decade in Corporate! It's a big achievement for someone like me. 

 And, 22 June, happens to be the birthday of my Pole Star! Yes, it's her birthday! :) 
Wish you a very happy birthday dear! 



 Today, am short of words, i do not have words which can do justice to the place that you hold in my life. My Pole star, who guides me at every step, someone who gives me strength; for sure you know how to induce things in my mind ;).  Well, since am unable to find words today, i will repeat my lines for you, 

 She is a friend, a family
someone i can rely on
someone with whom i can share all my fears 
someone with whom i can share my heart
someone who will do anything to bring that smile on my face
someone who showed me what it feels to be a kid and a grown up at the same time
someone who has been my strength all the times i was shattered
someone who calmed down me when lost myself
someone who helped me finding myself 
someone who shuts me up, when i utter rubbish
someone who feels proud to be with me
someone who guides me like a teacher
someone who pampers me like a sister
someone who cares for me like a mother
someone who cheers me up like a kid 
someone who understands my silence
She is a gem of a person, a rare species of her kind. 
Its difficult to find someone as crazy as yourself. Luckily I found! 
I wish all your dreams come true, and you get the best of the worlds!

Just a few days ago, Cute Li'le Angel happened to be in the town on a business trip, and as usual, we almost fought the hectic schedule, city weather and the traffic to have a meeting for a couple of hours. You Are More Than the Mind

 'The real "you" is different from those thoughts. You are reacting to every thought that visits your mind. By reacting to all of them, you are paying attention to your thoughts and feeding them, allowing them to exist. That is how a troubled mind creates a chaotic world.' This is an excerpt from a book am reading. A book which happens to be a fiction, and i didn't expect to read such a deep line in that one. It made me think, ponder upon even after days of reading the same. This is something that i learnt during Vipassana. An year of Metamorphosis!

Since the last post, life has been overhauled. It's been six months, and life is completely different now. A lot has happened in these six months, and I cannot relate to myself anymore. The person I was before April and the person I am now are two completely different human beings! Definitely, I have become more boring than earlier.  This year has been the year of firsts!
