It's never too late ...

For what it's worth: it's never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There's no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you're proud of. If you find that you're not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again.

Outlandish

There are days when you feel ecstatic. There are days when you feel down, and there are days when you feel totally out of the world; not because you are on cloud nine, but coz you are numb and can't feel anything anymore. Strange, Weird, insane or outlandish behavior! Sometimes you need to feel the connection  , sometime you just connect  and sometimes you feel like a lost one in the strange world. Everyone around appears far off, when you feel suffocated; coz you are unable to express what you feel.

Living the old passion again!

It's been a month i got my car, and in this month, drove for more than 700 km across Pune. Wow!! I have always loved driving, it has been my passion,  which i lost in the ups and downs of life. One more passion, which i lost in past few years was passion for writing, passion for dramatics. Remembering good old days of undergrads, when i used to visit the library only to pen down a script for an upcoming play or skit or monologue! Nostalgic i am today; when i have to develop one more script from scratch based on an idea discussed and approved with the team. Well yeah, we have an upcoming event in office on occasion of "Independence Day of India". And we as a team have decided to participate in a skit competition. And i have the responsibility to write the script for the same. So excited i am, just on the idea of writing a script for drama competition after 9 years. Still remember, the script i wrote for a friend , as she was supposed to participate in a monologue co...

A New Beginning!

New city, new people, new office, new work, new me, everything new! Phew, wondering is anything which is like the previous days? It's more than a month, since i moved to this new city - "Pune". While i was  moving here, i was neither anxious nor judgmental, but was hopeful. Had a hope that this might be a new beginning of life; a chance to create new memories, adding new dimensions and living new vision. And, can say that in a month there have been possibilities of the same.  Sometimes back, i had a chat with "my pole star" (the lady about whom i talked about in my last post  ) , regarding the new beginnings; and as always she was much more excited than what i was for the same. Just like my Cute Li'l Angel,   my pole star was equally confidant of the start of new era , and keeps on inspiring me for chasing the best. (Now on wards, this blog will have mention of one more person, "pole star" just like "Cute Li'l Angel" ) .  ...

....And Finally!!

...And Finally the D-day is about to be here. Countdown is in single digits now...soon it will be The D-Day! Am happy or sad ? I think am both happy and sad; excited and nervous; anxious and apprehensive! :| Life's completing a full circle, and may be the role of this place is over in it now. Guess, do not want the role of few people to be over in my life ever. I want them to be the same ways always..till my last breath. People, who are an integral part of me; with whom am leaving a part of myself behind, here in Gurgaon. Few days back, during one of our conversations, i told her about the crazy group of colleagues turned friends i have at work; and how am i going to miss them in my next assignment. She simply asked, "You will miss only them?" And it stroked the chord. I turned to her,and firmly told, "Yes". And she went pale. Few moments later, there was an epic line (my favorite one too), "You miss only those whom you tend to forget; and ther...

Happy Mother's Day!

When i woke up in the morning, facebook wall , whatsapp everything was flooded with messages and forwards on Mother's day!Seeing all this, I realized i had not wished my own mom, so thought of doing the  same. Actually i was forced to do think, how bad am i as a daughter; and how unlucky my mom is to have me as daughter who doesn't even remember to wish her Mother's Day! Weirdo!  Then i called her up, and the phone call lasted for about an hour with no mention of Mother's Day or what. We had a normal conversation like we always have, she is there to pour her heart and mind; and am there, all ears to her. And i just did not feel like completing the formality of wishing her Happy Mother's Day ! It felt like, if i fulfill the formalities with er, where will i go? I even do not know if she was expecting me to wish her, all i could sense was, she was more keen in our normal talks (or rather gossips) about family, friends, future plannings, and all.  And then i discon...

Some Quotes

Do not struggle against your thoughts; they are stronger than you are. If you want to be free of them, accept them.  - (The Valkyries, Paulo Coelho) Get up, stand up, Stand up for your rights. Get up, stand up, Don't give up the fight.” - Bob Marley Never expect. Never assume. Never ask. Never demand. Just let it be, if it's meant to be... it will happen. People will judge you by your actions, not your intentions. Difficulties in your life do not come to destroy you, but to help you realize your hidden potential and power. Let difficulties know that you too are difficult. - Dr A P J Kalam If you do not ask the answer is always a NO. "Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to  follow you...
