Comeback

Ages since I visited this place. The last time I came here was when I was down with Covid, and this time, when am down with another infection! Phew!  So many things have happened in the world since then, the most recent one being India knocked out of T20 Men's World Cup! On another note, yes, a lot has happened not just in the world, but in our day-to-day lives too. I came here to clear my head, but now when am scribbling things, have nothing in my heart to write. Is it really that I have nothing to write or just a block, what they call a writer's block? It's difficult to explain. Or maybe I just need to be regular, to be in the state where words just flow.  Am almost back to domestic life, some might say, have been domesticated after 15 years. This time, definitely more mature, more vocal than ever, and at the same time close. Someone, to whom, now family tells, to go out and meet people. I have turned a corner and am a person who can live the entire day sitting in a ro...

The Golden Touch!

An almost invisible thing has brought the world to a standstill. Not just for a second or a minute, for a considerable time in life, that actually gave a breather to almost every one of us, to go back to our priorities in life, and get them straight.  Of course, has been difficult for many of us, health-wise, financially, emotionally; has knocked down a lot, forced many to change the way of life or their viewpoint for the life, and has definitely made all of us stronger.  Just hope that this comes out to be a blessing in disguise, in the long term for everyone. As they say, tough times don't last, but tough people do!  Before testing positive for Covid (oh yes, I got this, and thankfully got over too), I did believe that everyone needs a Golden touch in life, or rather everyone has that Golden touch in life, that makes everything straight. Really wished the world too gets it and gets to a new normal, which is more humane and natural. And now after going through this...

Learning from 2020

Happy New Year!!!   What a year was 2020! Every year, we wait for the new year but seems this time, it was most awaited.  Some say, the name was 2020 but it seemed longer than a test match! So many things for the same year.  This year was for, revisiting humanity, revisiting ourselves, family bonding and evolving! Looks like, everything was getting so mechanical, that even nature decided to stop everything for a while, and gave us a chance to go back to our roots.  Okay, a whole year went by cribbing and being scared. But was this year that bad? Of course, some really bad things happened, still, there were some underlined good things too. The year 2020 was more a blessing in disguise, actually.   We all went back to our roots (at least most of us) This year, made us realise how important is surviving. Sometimes, it is more important than any achievement in life.  Spending time with family is the best thing we all have A lot of us explored the hidden ta...

Quarantine thoughts!

Every one of us evolves every minute based on what has happened around us, and how do we react to the happenings. It is said, that this rate of evolution decreases with age, ie kids evolve much faster than the adults, which is quite visible too in terms of physical evolution. But if we compare among the adults, the rate of this evolution or some people may call it maturing, is very different from person to person.  There are people who mature much faster than others, and then there are a few who mature overnight! Comparison is something that we can't help without, and especially for people like me, who always crave for data. Hence, i will take the privilege to compare this maturity level based on my experience and observations.  We can always classify people in following broad categories : a) Who learn just by reading about strangers (ie learn by the books) b) Who learn by observing the surroundings c) Who learn only on the job ie only once they commit a mistake they will lear...

Year 2020

It's been ages that i wrote something (except the last post which was for my dad on the occasion of his retirement, hence am not counting it as a real post). Sometimes, i wonder, why do i write rarely? Obviously don't have an answer to this. When someone else asks the same, i just make an excuse of writer's block or scarcity of time, or office work and other priorities. As always, my angel asked the same question, that made me come back here and pen down. I don't know why she asked, nor did i answer her question. Guess she already had an answer to this. As per her, i am transitioning into a black-box, or sand-box, where things/thoughts enter, but nothing comes out. Which is true to an extent. So what am doing these days? Am reading (have taken a challenge of reading at least 35 books this calendar year, however, could finish only14 until now) dedicating 120 minutes every week to learning (not the on the job thing) sleeping for 7-8 hours of the day/night - her...

Take a pause!

One of the most irritating things I have felt is when you are driving on an empty road, and suddenly you need to apply brakes and stop for a while. That's the moment we desperately want to get over! These days, we are at a similar place, everyone had their life going on its pace, and suddenly an invisible thing has brought the entire world to a standstill. Not just it has stopped the world, it has also inspired we humans to become humans again, feel human again, and nature has shown us our place. We always thought we are the best and the most advanced species in this world, and today, the tiniest of the creature has confined the entire humanity across the world. Till a few months back, we were busy planning our trips, and today all we do is plan our meals in the coming week or for some plan for the next meal. This tiniest of life has made us nothing in front of it. Today, we are like caged, and nature and animals are for sure laughing at us, for showing us our place. The speed...
