Maturity vs Age
Well many of u might find this a weird topic, but i do feel it as important as sleep. We all must have listened old people saying "Maturity comes with the age" , but is it actually the truth...?? I dont agree with this, coz i think maturity comes with sensibility and the capability of a mind to percieve and do the right thing at the right time and place.Just for an example many times we find a child of an age of 9 or 10 , someone from a family who have seen the realities of life to be more practical and mature than a grown up from rich family.in such a situation this kinda thumb rules will definately crash and lead to a wrong conclusion. Still we do obey them in the walk of life.
I agree with the fact that experience is the key of maturity , of course comes with age, time .... still a child can happen to be more mature than his elders.Here the question comes....why are few people more mature than another person of the same age group...?? Is it coz of their family backgrounds or that they have faced the realities of life more closely?? I think still the answer comes from the fact that it's all in the state of mind.... how does it percieves the things.....how does it approaches a particular condition.....can it think in a rational manner...and more importantly can a person keep a balance between his heart and mind. To be mature enough , a person really needs to be balanced in every terms whether it's on emotional grounds or mental.
Now why did i write on such a topic??
Actually recently, i was simply introspecting, and at the end stuck with a question.... am i mature enough to take the decisions of one's life.... define the limits of one's relations...?? ( of course am talking about some person other than me). How can i define the extents or the direction of other's relations , life??? i am just 21 years old girl, of course have got lots to see and learn in this world, still people look upto my suggestions while taking decisoions of their life. No doubt, anyone would feel previleged, if (s)he gets a chance to decide for the life of others as am getting today, but it really becomes a difficult job, coz it is your responsibility..... in the near future if something happens then it's you who is responsible not the person who actually did that. So again am stuck with the question ...am i really mature enough to deal with all this???
