Getting back to normal....

After two hectic weeks, I have finally got this day in which at least few hours are just mine.  Though have a lot of pending tasks on my to do list; and am a lazy body enjoying the warm winter afternoon, and with loss of words while writing. :( :( :( Two weeks, full of lots of work meetings, pampering sessions, travel, get-together, outings with crazy group of cousins, night outs, impromptu travel plans, wedding in family, first ever dance performance, exploring new places, meeting known strange people, back to workplace with a hectic schedule, inner chaos, some new developments, rumours, and the same Me! It was exhausting, definitely, at the same time, gave a new confidence-  a) First ever dance performance (Salsa Performance)  b) First ever anchoring experience c) Meeting known strangers with a new identity d) Battling the inner chaos, with the strength of smile e) Felt embarrassed while talking to My Angel (This is the most weird and stupid thing, a...

Turning 30

Saturday night it is, after a day full of happenings, I ended up watching this movie; which I wanted to since long but somehow missed it. Turning 30  (2011) an average Bollywood movie (don't worry, this post is not a movie review ;) but more about what it made me think); somewhere pinched me. I could totally relate to the monologues of the lead throughout the movie. Movie opens with a strong career oriented woman who is hopelessly in love with a spineless guy; who doesn't have balls to claim his love and ends up getting engaged to some other girl. Our lady , loses the guy right around her 30th birthday ; and during her break-up phase while she deals with harassment at workplace, one of her friends happens to read her random diary entries. On friend's insistence, the articles eventually shape up into a book "Turning 30". Though movie was just an average watch, but is quite inspiring one; how to deal with failures irrespective of who understands you, w...

My Guardian Angel

Already a week over and here i am, sitting and loving the "me time" :) . Away from the office chaos , traffic of city and greeting random acquaintances politely (yeah i do need to answer a lot of people whom i have never met before, never seen a single pic ,  but talk frequently) . Just a blink of eye and its already 6th day of the week! Always seen people counting the days, months or years; just realised while writing down , i just count weeks. Its always been like "few weeks " for me which actually was few months ; and today its again week got over (though it is month end as well). Again a sign of being a weirdo . Both my Angel and Pole star will definitely agree on this point with me (for a change! ;)  ) . Well it's my Angel's Wedding Anniversary, 3rd one (if am not wrong) . Wish you and your sweet hubby the best of life and happiness from all the world! And please don't forget to treat me; its long overdue (for previous ones also :P ) Some tim...

Tranquility at last!

It seems like ages, when I sat like this last time, just being myself, with myself, free from everything i.e. no plans in the pipeline for the day, waking up without an alarm snooze, with a cup of green tea, fav playlist on the go in background, can listen to the kids playing in the playground just below my balcony, feel the breeze in face and enjoy the sun on a winter day....! In short, calm, relaxed, happy being in my own space. Feels like this is happening for the first time since I moved to this city. Strange it is!  I was yearning for some "me time" since long; and finally I got this today, after declining three invites in a day .. :P Guess it was worth it! ;)  Coming to all the things happened in past few weeks, went for an all-girls trip (which was for sure due for almost an year!) with my besties; celebrated occasions of life with all new people (though every celebration is incomplete without My Pole star and Angel); for the first time participating in a fam...

Here they are Har din ek nai umeed lekar aata hai  kuch naye gham kuch nai khushiya de jata hai  agar ek gham kaafi hai zindagi bhar rulaane ke liye to ek muskan bhi kaafi hai rote ko hasaane ke liye  firk sirf itna hai  tumne jana hai ek gham kaafi hai zindagi bhar rulaane ke liye  humne jana hai ek khushi kaafi hai har gham bhoolane ke liye !  Cheers Khushi

Do you know what you want in life ?

Yes, you got it right, it is as silly and simple as asking for what do you want to have for dinner? Seems simple question, but went asked, sends chills through your spine! Appears to be the simplest one but difficult to answer  yet the most dodged one. If asked most of the people will give answer in mono-syllables and the moment it gets subjective, they start fumbling.  Well, I asked the same question to myself instead of asking to others. And the only answer i got was "I don't know " .Yeah true, i do not know what i want in life, but for sure i know what i do not want in life. What i distaste the most and what i refrain from the most. I may not be able to list my wishes, but for sure know how to list down what i do not wish for. Or rephrasing , i do not know what to wish for, but for sure i know what not to wish for even in dreams. That's why all my prayers have always been vague (and guess that's why He is also confused :P )  Coming back to square ...

It's never too late ...

For what it's worth: it's never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There's no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you're proud of. If you find that you're not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again.
